Crop Walk Results for 2009

November 8, 2009

Dear Friends,

This year’s CROP Hunger Walk was a great sucsess!. We had 213 participants, 13 more than last year, who raised $10,807 for Church World Services. 16 churches or groups took part, continuing to make this a truly inter-denominational effort.

Thank you very much to the walkers who went out and found the sponsors who donated the money. Many thanks go to the sponsors of our walkers. We are very grateful for their generous support of this community project. Also, thanks to the folks who sponsored our t-shirts. I think they were a great addition.

If you are happy you took part in the 2009 CROP Hunger Walk, stay tuned for news of next year's walk!, because we definitely would like to have you (and some friends) back for 2010! Mark October 3 on your 2010 calendar now, so you won't forget!

Some help in organizing next year’s Walk would be appreciated. If you feel the call to help in ANY way, please contact me.
