Introduction Hello! I am so glad to be a part of Wesley United Methodist Church's Youth congregation. Here's a little background about myself, and why I'm so passionate about my ministry. |

Personal History I was born in Newburgh, N.Y., where I resided until the age of 21. During that year, I was led to Goodwill Presbyterian Church where I was saved and introduced to faith in Jesus Christ. I began working with the youth ministry, serving as a volunteer youth leader. While serving in the youth ministry, I discovered a passion for missions and was led to serve in New Orleans, La., twice in Juarez, Mexico, and on five missions trips. The biggest impact on my life was on my second visit to New Orleans. I met my future wife, Laurie Cannon, while she was working as the rebuilding manager at the time for Trinity Christian Community. I expressed my interest to her by writing to her after the trip. We long-distanced dated for ten months and got married last August in Bridgeville, DE, (Laurie's hometown). I was hired by Trinity to work as the site supervisor managing the rebuilding efforts while Laurie took on a new role managing a literacy program. I served in the youth group while there and even preached my first sermon in the church. Laurie and I have since moved back to the northeast, feeling a strong pull back home. I am currently working on my bachelor's degree at Liberty University in the science of Religion. During my free time, I love competing in sports, have trained in martial arts, enjoy cooking, long walks outside and love to spoil our very badly behaved cat, Jasmine. |
